Education/Youth

Grace is truly a “ministry for all ages”! We have a very active youth group and education program that we are very proud of.

Vacation Bible School

VBS is a week-long (Sunday through Thursday) summer opportunity for any students going into PreK through 6th grade to gather for fun-filled evenings of games, music, and worship while learning about our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. The week ends with the VBS students putting on a community program where they share and celebrate what they have learned.

Wednesday Released Time

Wednesday School Released Time runs from 2:00-2:45 from September through April. Grades 1-6 and 7-9 alternate weeks. Students ride the bus from Win-E-Mac to Grace (as well as neighboring church Thriving Life), where students and teachers from various denominations in our community meet to dive deeper into their faith.

Due to the dismissal from school and bussing to Grace and Thrivint Life, student registration for Released Time will happen through paperwork at Win-E-Mac.

Youth Group

The Youth Group at Grace includes students from grades 7 and up. Some of our youth group activities are listed below:

    • Volunteering: The Grace Youth Group serves others by volunteering for “Feed My Starving Children”, Grace Food Shelf, fundraising by collecting and recycling cans, mission trips, and many other opportunities that become available throughout the year.
    • The WEM Community Youth Ministry is a group of students in the Winger, Erskine (including Grace), McIntosh, and Mentor areas. This group is for 7th through 12th grade students from the surrounding towns who are interested in building a foundation of faith and enjoying fellowship with peers.
