True North VBS from August 3rd to the 7th!
Grace Lutheran Church invites children going into PreK through 6th grades to True North: Trusting Jesus in a Wild World!
A summer kids’ event called True North will be hosted at Grace from Sunday, August 3rd to Thursday, August 7th. At True North, kids discover what it means to trust Jesus in a wild world! Kids participate in memorable Bible-learning activities, sing catchy songs, play teamwork-building games, devour yummy treats, experience one-of-a-kind Bible Adventures, collect Bible Memory Buddies to remind them of Jesus’ love, and test out sciency-fun experiments they’ll never forget. Plus, kids will learn to look for evidence of God all around them. Each day concludes with a Compass Closing that gets everyone involved in living what they’ve learned, followed by Glacier Games outside!
True North Vacation Bible School will kick off on Sunday, August 3rd, with a worship service at 4:00 pm (instead of the usual 9:00 am) in the sanctuary, picnic and games outside following the service, registration for VBS in the basement, then the first day of VBS from 6:00 to 8:00 pm (which is the time frame for VBS every day). The only difference on Thursday is that, while VBS still runs from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, family and friends are invited to a program starting at 7:00 pm, where the students will sing songs and tell about what they have learned during the week. If you want to pre-register your child, please use this link:

Additionally, we are still looking for volunteers to help with stations, teach classes, or show students the power of God’s love in some other way. Especially if you have worked with students before in Sunday School, Release Time, or at Win-E-Mac, please either fill out the volunteer from or reach out to the Grace Education co-directors Andrew and Becky Hanson at education@gracechurcherskine.org. Thanks!
